The Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science, BSc (Hons) programme equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to develop intelligent software and modern computing solutions. Combining computer science with artificial intelligence (AI), the course prepares graduates for careers in rapidly evolving technology industries.
Students study core computer science subjects including programming, algorithms, data structures, software engineering, databases, operating systems, computer networks, and web development. The programme also covers specialist AI topics such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, robotics, intelligent systems, data analytics, and neural networks.
Practical learning is central to the course through programming assignments, laboratory sessions, software development projects, and collaborative activities. Students gain experience using industry-standard programming languages, AI frameworks, cloud platforms, and development tools while building analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and project management skills.
The programme also explores ethical AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and responsible technology development.
