The Business Intelligence, BSc (Hons) programme equips students with the knowledge and practical skills to analyse business data and support strategic decision-making. It prepares graduates for careers in business analytics, data analysis, consulting, and other data-driven roles.
Students study key subjects including data analytics, business intelligence systems, database management, business statistics, data visualisation, and decision-making techniques. The programme explores how organisations use data to improve performance, understand customers, and drive business growth.
Practical learning includes analysing real business datasets, creating reports and dashboards, and using industry-standard business intelligence tools. Students also develop analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and digital skills through case studies and applied projects.
Supported by experienced academics, modern computing facilities, and industry-focused teaching, graduates are prepared for careers in business intelligence, data analytics, consulting, business analysis, or postgraduate study.

Placement Year Fee (2026/2027 Entry): Students undertaking a work placement year as part of their programme will be charged a placement year tuition fee of £1,350.
