Course Overview

The Creative Business BA (Hons) is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs, creative leaders, and innovators who want to combine artistic talent with strong commercial knowledge. Whether you plan to establish your own creative studio, oversee projects for leading game developers, or launch a successful digital business, this course provides the practical skills, business expertise, and leadership experience required to succeed in today's rapidly evolving creative industries.

Throughout the programme, you develop a comprehensive understanding of key business disciplines, including strategic management, marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Alongside these commercial foundations, you explore creative production processes such as 3D character design, concept art, game environment creation, and real-time engine workflows. This balanced approach enables you to understand both the creative and operational aspects of modern digital businesses while preparing you to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver innovative projects across the games, media, and entertainment sectors.

Practical experience is at the heart of the course. You will participate in live consultancy projects, collaborate with industry partners, and showcase your work through prestigious events such as Animex and ExpoSeries. These opportunities allow you to gain valuable professional experience, build an impressive portfolio, and develop the confidence to work effectively with clients, creative professionals, and business stakeholders in real-world environments.

Supported by strong industry connections and a thriving entrepreneurial community, the course encourages students to transform creative ideas into successful businesses through dedicated start-up support and business incubation opportunities. You will also explore the impact of emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, and digital innovation on the future of creative enterprise. Graduating with a unique combination of creative expertise, commercial awareness, and leadership capability, you will be well prepared for careers as a creative director, studio manager, digital entrepreneur, innovation strategist, or business leader within the global creative industries.
