Throughout the programme, you explore modern software engineering practices while developing expertise in programming, software architecture, systems analysis, application development, testing, and project management. You also examine the ethical, legal, security, and societal considerations that influence the development of software in today's technology-driven world, preparing you to become a responsible and effective software professional.

An optional work placement year further enhances employability by providing hands-on industry experience and helping you develop the technical, communication, and teamwork skills sought by employers.
You will study in modern computing laboratories equipped with professional software and specialist facilities, while Teesside University's innovative Cloud Labs enable secure access to industry-standard development environments from virtually any device.
